What is CMAT

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is an online computer-based test conducted by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), India. It is a national-level admission test for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programmes approved by AICTE. There are 3500+ AICTE approved B-schools which are expected to take CMAT scores.

There shall be negative marking for wrong answers, for each wrong answer 1 mark shall be deducted. There are 25 questions in each section. The duration of test is 180 minutes, without any breaks. Students will have the freedom to move back and forth between sections. They are expected to show their competency in all the sections.
CMAT will rank its takers based on both the over-all test scores and individual sectional scores. Those with high overall scores will get better ranks.
